Who has benefited from the Construction
Industry Transportation Consultant Program
10-31-2006
Our effort to improve uniformity in transportation regulation has provided benefits over a surprisingly large group of businesses and organizations involved in California’s construction industry.
In some cases the improvements in fees, delays and reduced violations of arcane and fragmented regulations are direct—for contractors, their suppliers, employees and associations for example. In others, these improvements have been more indirect, but still tangible, as they have helped to speed the efficient movement of goods throughout the state.
Here’s a partial list of those who have benefited:
- Air Resources Board and Districts
- Auction House
- Caltrans
- Contractors
- Crane Operators
- Crushing Industry
- Dirt Haulers

Truck Dealer But, our work is not done. Almost daily we receive calls or emails from members of the industry regarding issues with one agency or another, and, like a firefighter or a policeman, we respond to those calls for action. Our tools—information, communication, polite, but persistent pressure have helped our industry move forward on many fronts.
We look forward to continuing to provide this service to our industry far into the future.
Sincerely,
Gregory D. Dineen
